Hockley Tennis Junior Membership
Initial £50 signing on fee goes to Hockley Tennis Club for access to the junior programs
A year-round junior tennis programme at Hockley Tennis Club, designed to help children develop their tennis skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.
Two Membership options include:
Full membership - Saturdays & Wednesdays
Half Membership - Wednesday Only - Term Time Only (Please note this subscription continues in 12 even payments)
Saturday Coaching – 1 hour every week
Our main weekly junior session, running throughout the year, weather permitting.
Wednesday Coaching – 45 minutes
An additional weekly coaching session running during school term time.
Sessions are designed around the age and ability of the players and include a mixture of technical development, movement, coordination, rallying, fun games and match-play. Our aim is to develop confident, capable young players while making sure they enjoy coming to tennis.
We use age-appropriate equipment and activities to help players progress at their own pace, while introducing the skills, techniques and understanding they need to continue developing.
Please note: Wednesday sessions only operate during school term time. Saturday sessions run throughout the year, weather permitting.
As sessions are predominantly outdoors, occasional cancellations may be necessary due to unsafe weather or court conditions. We always do our best to run sessions whenever conditions allow. Weather-related cancellations are not individually refunded or credited, as the membership is based on a year-round coaching programme and paid through equal monthly payments.
Hockley Tennis Club membership is required in addition to this coaching membership.
